Don Jose Sulaiman Museum inaugurated in Reynosa

In Reynosa town Hall Mauricio Sulaiman cut the crimson ribbon to inaugurate the Museum dedicated to the life’s work of his Father Don Jose Sulaiman.

A history containing and encapsulating so many memories, education and evolution of boxing.

Robes, boots, gloves, the famous Green and Gold Belt. The first WBC belt which was black, commemorative belts.

Photos of Don Jose as a Referee, as WBC President along with Pope John Paul 2nd, with the boxing superstars who were family to him.

Two sets of shorts belonging to Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera labeled Terrible,  and then Tapia in honor of Marco’s Mum. Who could forget their epic trilogy.

Earlier in the Sala de Cabildo in the Municipal Palace Mauricio was presented with a framed certificate honoring His Father’s life work and enduring legacy to, in and for boxing.

Greatness cherished and remembered forever in the home State of the Sulaiman Saldivar Family. The Homecoming.
