World Boxing Council super middleweight champion Anthony “The Dog” Dirrell (33-1-1, 24 KOs) is readying to defend his Green and Gold Belt against undefeated former champion, David “Red Flag” Benavidez (21-0, 18 KOs), on September 28 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Anthony is walking his talk, doing a great preparation, as he wants to take the lead, by proving his quality when he faces Benavidez, who has himself already held the WBC crown and reappeared after more than a year of inactivity to knock out the tough fighter J’Leon Love.
Dirrell comes from winning the supermiddle title by defeating Turkish contender Avni Yildirim by a technical decision, in a fight in Minnesota, United States.
“I will defend what is mine. I feel very motivated and very hungry for triumph. I’m going to get in the ring to do my job and the title will stay with me, promised ”Dirrell.
