Dina Thorslund Prepares for U.S. Debut

WBC bantamweight champion Dina Thorslund of Denmark will face fellow American champion Shurretta Metcalf in an attractive unification bout, which will take place on July 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. This historic all-women’s card stars the thrilogy between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano, presented by MVP Promotions.

Thurslund comes into this fight after successfully defending her title last October, easily defeating Japanese fighter Terumi Nuki.

Metcalf, meanwhile, arrives having defeated Japanese fighter Miyo Yoshida in New York City.
