
Undefeated Marie-Eve Dicaire (17-0), says she’s totally ready for the most important fight of her life, against Claressa Shields (10-2, 2 KOs).
Dicaire, a popular French Canadian boxer, understands the importance of this bout and is in the mood for a spectacular victory.
“I am excited. I know it is an important and difficult fight, but I made sure to focus on my strategy based on my skills. For my part, I did everything I had to prepare for this fight,
“I have always said that boxing is a passion, and I am happy to make a living from this sport. But for me, it is more than that. It is a way to inspire people and change the mindset of society.
“I want to achieve greatness to inspire people to dream big and that’s what this fight is about for me.”
Dicaire was an amateur karate world champion before moving on to boxing, in which she has defeated five world champions.
“My experience in karate has always been a powerful tool for me in terms of mindset and work ethic. I was built on martial arts and I think that’s what made me the strong athlete I am now,”
