Deputy Christian Sánchez and the WBC present culture and sport interchange

Taking place in Mexico´s Chamber of Deputies, our weekly press conference became a gastronomic and cultural of San Luis Potosí, which was inaugurated by the President of the WBC, Mr. Mauricio Sulaimán and the Deputy of the “Partido Verde”, Christian Sánchez Sánchez, who welcomed the entire boxing family to this iconic venue.

For Deputy Sánchez, boxing is a sport that has been linked to his life and to which he recognizes how the way to encourage and keep young people and children from a bad path. He added that boxing is a one hundred percent a Mexican sport because it is the activity that  has brought so much glory to  Mexico and for that reason he promised to provide all the support to continue promoting this sport from the sphere in which he works.

For the WBC´s leader, this moment was very emotional because he transported him to those childhood years, but especially to remember his grandfather Don Elías, since he adopted the Huasteca Potosina as his home.

Grateful for the invitation, Mauricio reaffirmed his commitment to continue working for boxing and added that with the support of Deputy Christian Sánchez, great projects will be held in this important region of Mexico.
