Led by Dr Amir Mosadegh, a delegation from Iran has visited the World Boxing Council, to discuss how to develop and flourish Boxing there.
Dr Mosadegh said the WBC is widely known and admired in Iran, which has a population of eighty six million people. He has a television program with a audience of ten million viewers. He himself has experience of combat sports having been national kick boxing champion four times.
He mentioned that Kish Island is an ideal place to hold boxing tournaments as well as conventions, and commented: “We are so happy to be here and are feeling good to be part of the WBC!”
