DAZN, the leading sports streaming service, will significantly increase its presence during 2020, expanding to more than 200 countries and regions.
The first world event to be broadcast massively, will be Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez’s boxing fight against an opponent to be defined, which will take place on Saturday, May 5. This first phase of expansion that DAZN will have is focused on boxing, based on the company’s important investment in this sport during the last two years.
The platform works with many of the world’s leading promoters, including Golden Boy Promotions, Matchroom Boxing, GGG Promotions, among others.
DAZN is currently available in nine countries: Austria, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the United States. Starting in May, DAZN will be officially available in more than 200 countries and regions including Australia, India, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Scandinavia, Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, among others.
