David Picasso and Mayweather Final Press Conference

The RING TELMEX-TELCEL Fighter, David “King” Picasso, Zanfer Boxing talent, led by Fernando Beltran Rendon, offered the last press conference, heading into the Saturday duel at the Mexico City Arena.

It was packed, with the presence of the legendary Floyd Mayweather Jr and Luis “Zurdo” Rodriguez will also perform on this card.

As announced weeks ago, Picasso will defend the World Boxing Council silver super bantamweight crown against the Armenian, Azat Hovhannisyan.

In this boxing evening, the legendary Floyd Mayweather Jr. will face John Gotti III, which is what rounds out this international boxing card.

Picasso comes to this fight with a record of 20-0-1, with 16 knockouts, while the Armenian does so with a record of 21-4, with 17 knockouts with an extensive experience having faced champions Rey Vargas and Luis Nery.

Picasso, who will also defend the TELMEX-TELCEL colors, felt very comfortable next to Mayweather Jr. He knows that he will have to work overtime, if necessary, because his aim is to go for a world title.

“ZURDO” RODRÍGUEZ, IN ACTION

Another TELMEX-TELCEL Scholarship holder, Luis “Zurdo” Rodríguez, will have a trial by fire against the knockout artist, César Vaca Espinoza, in a battle scheduled for ten rounds at super bantamweight.

The fight is of reserved prognosis, since both fighters have heavy fists and possess ample physical and technical resources.

Rodríguez, 22 years old, has an undefeated record of 15-0, with 14 knockouts, while Vaca, of the same age, arrives with a professional record of 16-1 with 11 knockouts.
