Yuliahn ‘Cobrita’ Luna from Laguna vows she has the venom within the power punching coil to foil the latest bid against her, in the third defense of her WBC bantamweight title, scheduled for Friday, against the Argentine Vanesa Lorena Taborda in Fresnillo, Zacatecas.
The card is presented by Promociones del Pueblo, directed by Oswaldo Küchle; in association with BXSTRS Promotions, it will be broadcast to all of Latin America through the international signal of ESPN Knockout live from the Fresnillo Fair Dome.
The world champion in the 118-pound division knows the scale of expectation from Mexican fans, but pledges to be a viper sniper for Fresnillo fans in the defense of her World Boxing Council bantamweight title defense.
“All of Mexico is my home, I know that the fans will respond in a great way and that I will have their support. As well as that of some people from Torreon who will make the trip, as we are not far away; all the work is already done and there is nothing left to prove because I am the champion and because women continue to gain spaces in boxing worldwide, I am going to give them an exciting fight that they will not forget for a long time,” she said.
In the co-main duel, Bryan ‘Destructor’ Mercado will face Brandon ‘Red Boy’ Gámez.
