Last weekend, at the thrilling fights at Barclay Center, we were joined by Lt Charles Trento, a New York City police officer on a mission.
As if being in the NYPD isn’t challenging enough, he and two fellow officers, Lt. Kwo and Det. Anastasakos, have choosen to climb Mt Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Ronald MacDonald House (children with cancer) in honor of Sgt. Paul Tuozzolo, who was killed in the line of duty.
Lt. Trento earned the WBC Championship medal, President Sulaiman gave him, and was gracious upon receiving it.
We thank SGT Robert Mladinich and the SBA for bringing their efforts to our attention.
