“Chon´s” long reach from Long Beach to Mexico

World Boxing Council’s Super Lightweight Silver Champion, José ‘Chon’ Zepeda, tops a Zanfer Promotions billboard, March 19th, at the Josué Neri Santos Municipal Gym in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua.

Also in action Carlos ‘Tiburón’ Sánchez, Pedro ‘Roca’ Campa and Angel ‘Mantequilla’ Napoles Jr.
Originally from Long Beach, California, and at 32 years old, ‘Chon’ Zepeda will face Francisco “Verdugo” Pérez (18-12-1, 13 KO’s) in a 10-round bout.

Zepeda is coming off a spectacular victory, where he knocked out Puerto Rican boxer Josué Vargas during the first round in October of last year in New York.

Pérez is an experienced fighter, who has faced Arístides Pérez, Diego Cruz, Nery Saguilán and Gabriel Gollaz.
