Charlo vs Sulecki postponed

Jermall Charlo vs. Maciej Sulecki, scheduled for Saturday, June 18 at the Toyota Center in Houston, had to be postponed due to a back injury Charlo suffered during his training camp.

Charlo (32-0, 22 KOs) has been out of the ring since June 2021, when he earned a decision victory over Mexico’s Juan Macías Montiel.

Sulecki (30-2, 11 KOs) was training for the fight in Chicago, Illinois, with his new trainer, former WBC International champion Andrzej Fonfara.

Also scheduled for the undercard was undefeated super bantamweight contender Ra’eese Aleem facing Mike Plania, and undefeated fighting Derrick James contender Frank Martin battling Ricardo Nunez.

The card will be rescheduled to a new date to be announced soon.
