Charlie “The Hammer” Hall wins WBC Courage Award

Charlie Hall from Australia, who’s autistic has started an anti bullying campaign, and won the World Boxing Council’s Courageous Person of the year for his true grit.

Charlie who’s come all the way from Australia with his Mum and Dad to receive the award, told the WBC Convention in Cancun; ‘’My message to the bullies is to fight in the ring and not the streets. My heart is Gold and my blood is Green.’’

Charlie ‘’The Hammer’’ Hall will appear in the ring on Saturday in a Cancun Boxing event, alongside unified super lightweight champion Jose Carlos Ramirez.

At the Convention Charlie enjoyed an impromptu boxing class from Coach and World famous Referee Stephen Blea.  It was great to watch.  They just clicked!
