Chantelle Cameron will defend her World Boxing Council super lightweight title against former two-division world champion Victoria Noelia Bustos at London’s O2 Arena on May 21.
Cameron (15-0, 8 KOs) returns after defeating Mary McGee last October, with a dominant performance.
Bustos (23-6) a world champion in two divisions, lightweight and super lightweight, is motivated by having the opportunity to compete for the WBC Green and Gold Belt.
“I am delighted to finally have a date where she can defend another world title. I needed to get back into action and stay active, so I’m really excited to face Victoria Bustos. October was my most recent fight , so it’s been a long time coming. Bustos is a tough and complicated rival, so it will be a good test for me,” Chantelle commented.
“I’ve been working hard in Manchester with my trainer Jamie Moore and I feel great so I can’t wait to get back in the ring and show everyone once again that I’m one of the best fighters on the planet.”
The bout will be part of the Joshua Buatsi vs. Craig Richards light heavyweight fight card, which will be broadcast live on DAZN.
