This Saturday, Chantelle Cameron and Mary McGee will headline an action-packed night of boxing at London’s O2 Arena.
Cameron and McGee’s clash for the WBC and IBF super lightweight titles. It`s also a Matchroom’s semi-final Road to the Undisputed tournament, where the winner will establish herself as the best 140 pounds in the world.
Both fighters were face to face prior to this long-awaited fight at a press conference.
Cameron tangibly impressed in her first defense of her WBC title by beating former champion Melissa Hernandez by TKO in the fifth round last May.
McGee comes into this fight with a seven-bout winning streak and comes off from knocking out Deanha Hobbs in the ninth round in 2020.
The card is promoted by Matchroom Boxing, in association with DiBella Entertainment and will be broadcast on DAZN.
Backing up the same card, heavyweight Alen Babic (8-0, 8 KOs) will battle former world challenger Eric Molina (28-7, 20 KOs) in an eight-round matchup.
Light heavyweight Craig Richards (16-2-1, 9 KOs) will meet up with Marek Matyja (20-2-2, 9 KOs) in a ten-round fight.
Britain’s Youssef Khoumari (13-0-1, 5 KOs) will battle American Jorge David Castañeda (14-1, 11 KOs) for the vacant WBC International Super featherweight youth Championship.
