Caroline Veyre becomes the new WBC Silver Featherweight Champion

As the co-main event on the Claressa Shields fight card, Caroline Veyre and Licia Boudersa faced off in a 10-round battle for the WBC Silver Featherweight title.

Veyre controlled the fight with an aggressive and accurate style. While Boudersa had some moments where she showed her skill and strength, it was her compatriot who landed the more damaging blows.

In the ninth round, after sustained punishment, Boudersa’s eyebrow began to bleed.

All three judges scored the fight in favor of Caroline Veyre, who was crowned the new WBC Silver Featherweight Champion with this impressive victory.
