
WBC Franchise champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez, takes on WBO light heavyweight world champion, Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev, in hand to hand combat tomorrow night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The fight is organized by Golden Boy Promotions and Main Events, and will be broadcast by DAZN.
For Alvarez, it will be the sixteenth world championship fight in his tremendously successful career.
And a first in the light heavyweight category. While “Krusher” Kovalev will battle his seventeenth title battle, all of them in this category.
This Friday both fighters went through the official weigh-in:
Canelo recorded 174.5 pounds, while Kovalev gave 175 pounds in his 3rd try.
