Canelo  Cares 

World Boxing Council Franchise champion, Saul “Canelo” Álvarez responded to the call from the Civil Association “Red Nose” which assists cancer patients in Guadalajara, Jalisco, who reached the fighter to ask him for support to buy medicines.

“Canelo” responded to the call and the A.C. Red Nose thanked him via social networks for his caring.

“This is solidarity !!! Gratitude and love to you @Canelo !!! #TeamCanelo we already have  medicines thanks to you !! ”, they published accompanied by a video showing children suffering from this terrible illness.

Thanks to the donation of Álvarez and others, Red Nose bought and delivered 94 doses of cytarabine to the Juan I Menchaca Civil Hospital.

It is not the first time that Canelo is part of the campaign on the benefit of this foundation. In January last year, Saul shaved his beard as part of a fundraising campaign.
