Canelo vows to dig deep against Fielding
World Boxing Council middleweight champion, Mexican Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, doesn’t see an easy fight against Rocky Fielding, his rival on December 15, at Madison Square Garden in New York.
“Canelo” held a teleconference where he talked about some aspects of his career:
“For me the fight against Fielding is as important as that of Golovkin, Cotto, Mayweather, Lara or Trout. Every fight has a risk and we have to work to minimize it. I’m happy, there’s a little time left until the night of the fight and I am really motivated to get back into the ring.
“It’s important for me to make history winning another world title and enter that privileged list of Mexican world champions in three divisions. That’s why I’m here in this significant fight, and it’s important to come out with the win.
“I’m not worried about the difference in height. We are working to neutralize it. I do not care at all. I’m a fighter who can adapt, and that’s what I’ll do when I fight with him. ”
This event will take place at Madison Square Garden and will be broadcast live on the DAZN platform.
