Canelo and GGG throw the first pitches at Yankee Stadium

The New York Yankees have had an impressive run so far this MLB season.

They opened the series at home against the Oakland Athletics, and the pitch honor fell to Saul Canelo Álvarez and Gennady Golovkin.

As part of the Canelo vs. Golovkin 3 promotion series towards their trilogy thrillogy on September 17 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Saúl Álvarez and GGG were invited to throw the first pitches.

The Mexican wore a jersey with the #9 of the Yankees, while the Kazakh wore #17, this with the intention of remembering the date of the fight: September 17^th.

After this historic moment, both fighters held a very cool, stone faced and chilly, but respectful face off at the Yankee´s Stadium home plate. They’ve got a lot on their plate!

This will be the third fight between both boxers yet the first occasion that they fight for the undisputed 168Lbs. crown, championship held  by Sa
