The World Boxing Council super middleweight champion, Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez, will face Puerto Rican Edgar Berlanga on September 14 at the T-Mobile Arena, in a festive fight that revives the Mexico vs. Puerto Rico boxing rivalry.
Both warriors made their grand arrival at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada; and they report in supreme condition to get into the ring and duke it out, with fiery predictions.
“I’m going to knock him out in eight rounds or less,” said “Canelo.” “He’s a good fighter, he’s strong, but it’s nothing new for me. I have a lot of experience and he’s going to feel it on Saturday.”
“I’m going to knock him out in the sixth round,” said Berlanga. “When it’s time to shine, I always do. This is a war. It’s Puerto Rico against Mexico. We’re about to make history.”
