Britain’s Chantelle Cameron (12-0, 7 KOs) will face Brazilian Adriana Dos Santos Araujo (6-0, 1 KO) for the vacant World Boxing Council super lightweight title this Sunday, October 4, in Buckinghamshire, England.
The fight is promoted by Matchroom Boxing and will be broadcast on SKY in the UK and on DAZN in the US.
Both fighters presented to the official weigh-in, with Cameron tipping 137.7 pounds and Araujo 145.7.
The Brazilian fighter didn’t make the super lightweight limit, so the WBC world title will not be at stake for her. Only Cameron can become world champion if she gets the win this Sunday.
