Cameron adds a belt

English fighter Chantelle Cameron not only retained her WBC super lightweight title, but also claimed the IBF belt by defeating Mary McGee Saturday at London’s O2 Arena.

The show, which was originally to be starred by Dillian Whyte against Otto Wallinbut that could not take place, so it concluded with an all-out war between England’s Cameron and America’s McGee. Although both fighters exchanged brilliant moments throughout the fight, Cameron’s movements and ability to land clean punches spelled  the difference to get the victory.

As a result, she took all three scorecards from the judges with socre cards of  99-91, 99-92 and 100-90.

The match was also a semi-final of the “Road To Undisputed” tournament, which will end up crowning an undisputed champion of the division.
