WBC Interim Lightweight Champion William ”Camaron” Zepeda is aiming to up his performance against durable, wily and experienced Tevin Farmer in their March 29th rematch, which will be at the Poliforum, Benito Juarez, Cancun.
Southpaw Camaron, 32-0, 27 KO`S who has recovered from an injury to his left hand, which fortunately didn`t require surgery, was looking slim, fit and well at the WBC`s Martes A Cafe, at Sports and Chips in Coyocan.
In Riyadh last November, in spite of being briefly knocked down in round four he fought strongly to defeat Farmer 37-7-1, 8 KO`s, by SD. William said there were no excuses for that fight, as he`d prepared well, but this time he’s determined to apply an all-intensive, all-pervasive mentality and be all the sharper with his counter punching plus ring generalship.
His aim is to then go on and fight Shakur Stevenson for the Absolute Championship. In that case William says he needs to remove fellow Shakur from his comfort zone by applying constant and unremitting pressure and one important key to success will be effective body punching.
But first he has to reap dividends by applying the crop against Farmer and is promising Cancun a Night To Remember!
