MIGHTY ATOM…Bytyqi vs. Lopez for the WBC Atom Championship

Undefeated Czech champion Fabiana Bytyqi (19-0-1, 5 KOs), will defend her World Boxing Council Atom belt against Mexican Elizabeth López Corzo, tomorrow, Friday, July 29, in Ferizaj, Kosovo. 

Fabiana arrives hungry, determined and eager to defend her WBC crown, while the Mexican arrives with dreams of achieving glory thousands of miles from her place of origin.

Today the official weigh-in of the evening was held and these were the results:

Fabiana Bytyqi: 101.6

Elizabeth Lopez: 102. 9

*The division limit is 102 pounds; however, the WBC grants one pound of tolerance in women’s fights considering the physical changes inherent to the menstrual period.
