Boschiero Vs Patera on December 17

Former WBC world title challenger Devis Boschiero (8-6-2, 22 KOs) from Italy,  fights former European champion Francesco Patera 23-3-0, 8 KOs) from Belgium, for the vacant World Boxing Council Silver lightweight title, on December 17 at the Allianz Cloud in Milan.

Patera commented: “Boschiero is a good fighter who throws a lot of punches from the start to the last second of the last round and I know he will do the same with me. I’m ready to fight him. My dream is to become a world champion and if everything goes well and I win the Silver title, I will be closer to facing Devin Haney.”

On the same card, European super bantamweight champion Luca Rigoldi (Italy, 22-1-2, 8 KOs) will defend his crown against Gamal Yafai (UK, 17-1, 10 KOs). Also Maiva Hamadouche (France, 21-1, 17 KOs) will face Nina Pavlovic (Serbia, 6-3-1, 1 KO).

The event is promoted by Matchroom Boxing Italy, Opi Since 82 and DAZN, and will be broadcast live on that platform.
