Berchelt and Vargas predict rematch war
Super featherweight WBC champion, Miguel Berchelt and his challenger Francisco Vargas were linked by telephone with the boxing press in Mexico to discuss their much anticipated bow by blow rematch on March 23, which both described as a pending war.
Ready and hungry to have a great 2019 Francisco and Miguel state no quarter asked…and none given!
“Bandido” who was the first to take the call said that he`s happy his opportunity has come and his greatest motivation, hunger and desire is to recover the green and gold title, to show he still has a lot to offer inside the ring. He stressed he`ll be focusing on discipline and strategy.
Confident in guidance of his coach Joel Diaz, Vargas is convinced that he will surprise Berchelt, saying that both the champion and his team are overconfident. He assured that the last this time the story line will be totally different.
Undaunted and unabashed Miguel stated that since their first clash, he`s further matured and developed with four defenses of his crown in which he`s corrected errors and polished his skills.
“Alacrán”, who will make the fifth title defense of his belt says that he respects Francisco because he is an excellent boxer and a tough opponent, That said, he simply won`t allow Francisco to take away or take back, what he himself has worked so very hard to earn and retain. This for him is the passion of motivation.
