Morrell
Between 2016 and 2017, Morrell emerged as a prominent figure in Cuban boxing, recognized as the island’s top amateur fighter.
He boasts an impressive amateur record of 130 victories and only 5 defeats
After a year spent in Mexico, Morrell made his professional debut in the United States in August 2019, securing a knockout victory.
He claimed his first title in his 3rd professional bout.
Benavidez
At the age of 13, Benavidez trained alongside boxing legend Manny Pacquiao at the same gym, an experience he recalled with disbelief in a YouTube video.
He quickly gained notoriety for his aggressive fighting style, earning the nickname “Red Flag” due to his perceived danger in the ring, much like a red flag warning on a beach.
Benavidez made his professional debut at the remarkably young age of 17, with his first seven fights taking place in Mexico.
Born in Phoenix, Arizona to Mexican parents, David Benavidez has embraced his heritage, incorporating it into his boxing identity.
