Benavidez flags Interim WBC title defense

Two fine super middleweights, namely David Benavidez (26-0, 23 KOs) and Caleb Plant (22-1, 13 KOs) are preparing to define.

They will step into the ring at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on March 25.
In the fight, the interim WBC title, which Benavidez holds will be on the line, in addition, the winner must face the unified champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez.

Benavidez comes from winning his last fight at the Gila River Arena, against David Lemieux, by technical knockout in the third round.

Plant, after losing to Canelo in 2021, won an impressive KO victory against former world champion Anthony Dirrell after stalking him.
