David Benavidez, interim super middleweight champion of the WBC, at just 26 years old, from Phoenix, Arizona, will face also undefeated Demetrius Andrade on Saturday, at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas.
Both fighters were face to face at a press conference where they both promised victory.
David Benavidez, one meter and 88cm tall, and with a record of 27 wins without defeats and 23 by knockout, is distinguished by his power punch. Good footwork and great strength. He has
a very long jab that keeps his opponents at a distance before backing up them up with strong rights plus left hooks.
Demtrius Andrade is originally from Rhode Island and has an impressive record of 32-0 with 19 KO’s and is a natural righty, but he knows how to take the stance of a southpaw. His presence is imposing in the ring and one of his main virtues is to keep his rivals at a distance and he almost always comes out unscathed.
His style is very elusive and his leg movement is well coordinated , but at the same time he will go tie to toe in order to unleash power blows.
