Beeline “Barby” says Ja to Nine

WBC female bantmweight champion, Mariana ‘Barby’ Juarez, will face the former Argentine world champion Carolina ‘La Turca’ Duer on October 5 to be beamed by  traditional ‘Box Saturdays’ of Televisa Deportes.

It`s Barby`s ninth defense of the WBC title, against an exacting rival, who`s been world champion at super flyweight and bantamweight.

Duer, has fought against durable rivals including: Maria Cecilia Román, Sabrina Pérez, Marcela Acuña and Marisa Portillo.

Mariana says she`ll make a couple more defenses before making a beeline straight for the  WBC super-bantamweight belt,  as she wants to become the only Mexican Lady with absolute titles in four different divisions.
