
Ryan Rozicki fights Badou Jack for his chance to become WBC world cruiserweight champion.
The bout will take place at The Venue Riyadh Season, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 3.
Ryan the “Brusier” Rozicki is the #1 ranked WBC cruiserweight. The fight was originally scheduled for April 26 at the Center 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. But negotiations progressed further than expected and they were able to get the fight on the bill headlined by Saul “Canelo” Alvarez.
The “Brusier” has 20 wins, 19 of them by KO, one loss and one no contest.
Badou the “Ripper” Jack, became champion after Noel Mikaelyan was named champion in recess. Jack defeated Ilunga Makabu in 2023 by knockout in the last round. He has not seen action in the ring since.
The “Ripper” has an impressive 28-3-3 record and a streak of 6 consecutive wins, Badou has been WBC champion at light heavyweight , super middleweight and his current cruiserweight crown.
Rozicki stated that he will surprise everyone.
“My style of fighting has not been seen in Saudi Arabia.”
“I’m going to knock Jack out and end his boxing career. It’s as simple as that.”
