Croatian Alen Babic will look to maintain his knockout streak when he faces Poland’s Adam Balski for the World Boxing Council vacant Silver Bridgerweight title on a fight night also featuring light heavyweights Joshua Buatsi and Craig Richards at London’s O2 Arena, Saturday night in a live broadcast on DAZN.
Babic is coming off knocking out France’s David Spilmont on the undercard of Joseph Parker’s rematch with Derek Chisora in December, raising his record to ten knockouts in ten fights since he turned pro in July 2019.
While Adam Balski (10-1-0, 9 Ko`s) comes from defeating Vadym Novopashyn on December 17, by unanimous decision.
The WBC created the Bridger division, which goes from the upper limit of the Cruiserweight division of 200 pounds/90 kilos to 224 pounds/101 kilos. The current WBC world champion of this weight is Colombian Oscar Rivas.
