Number one WBC ranked mandatory challenger for the World Boxing Council flyweight Green and Gold Belt, Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyo, will try to win when he faces formidable and forbidding champion Julio Cesar “Rey” Martínez, from Mexico on February 27 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Florida.
“I feel very motivated because finally the fight is going to take place and I know that they are going to enjoy it to the fullest. We want to return with the world title, so we have been working extra hard to arrive in excellent condition, ”said Arroyo, who trains with Anthony Otero.
About his rival Arroyo stressed; “He is a good champion, very strong and with qualities. He has already defended his title successfully, but now it is my turn to do everything possible to bring the championship to Puerto Rico. We are going to fulfill my dream of winning the WBC Green and Gold title. ”

Now, in a division in which he feels more comfortable, McWilliams hopes to become the next flyweight champion of the WBC and at the same time add another brilliant chapter to the rivalry between Mexicans and Puerto Ricans.
