Another string to Shields’ bow

Pound-for-pound genius Claressa Shields, has set herself a gargantuan task in beefing up to the heavyweight division, to face WBC champion Vanessa Lepage-Joanisse, at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

Ambitious Shields is also looking to spearhead and ennoble a company she has entitled “T-Rex Promotions” and wasting no time, she has signed her first worthy fighter, Samantha Worthington (8-0, 6 KOs) who will fight on the same card.

“I am excited to work with Claressa on the first fighter we signed together, Samantha Worthington. She was Claressa’s teammate in the amateurs and is now an undefeated, world-ranked professional who will fight on July 27 in Detroit.
