Amanda Serrano conquers WBC feather interim crown

In Madison Square Guarden, Amanda Serrano, the pride of Puerto Rico and The Big Apple,  won an important and convincing victory by defeating American warrior, Heather Hardy.

The first round was seminal, since Serrano was in  full control, constantly connecting with powerful, accurate  and solid combinations. For all the world, it seemed that everything would end there an then.

However, Hardy showed great heart, fighting back with fortitude to such an extent that she switched the pressure right on to Serrano.

Hardy intelligently tried to keep Serrano at distance. However, Serrano piled the pressure on, round after round.

The fight culminated with scores of 98-91, 98-91, 98-92, all in favor of Amanda Serrano, the new WBC champion.
