
World Boxing Council heavyweight champion Deontay ” Bronze Bomber” Wilder, will defend his crown for the first time, against the undefeated Tyson ” Gypsy King” Fury, in a long-awaited tiebreaker fight this Saturday at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
Both were cheek to jowl in what was the last pre-fight press conference they will hold. Wilder and Fury exchanged choice words and challenges on stage, reporting ready to get into the ring.
“Nobody is going to save you this time. I’m going to knock you out in a terrible, devastating way. You won’t even know who you are. I have this privileged right hand that will end you on Saturday. This is a show for the world.
“Greatness is in me. It will be an incredible feeling, my eleventh consecutive defense of the title. Now I am tied with my idol, the best fighter, Muhammad Ali.
“Once I have defeated Fury with a devastating knockout, I will still go further to break the record and do more incredible things. My goal is to be the only a champion. The face, the name in the division. I am pursuing that and I hope to fulfill my goals and dreams this year, ” Wilder said (42-0 -1, 41 knockouts).
For his part, Fury (29-0-1, 20 knockouts), was confident and very excited to face Wilder again and said it will be a great show.
“I can’t wait any longer for this great fight, one of the best in the last 50 years in the heavyweight division.
“Deontay and I will put everything on the line. Everyone knows what boxers we are and I definitely know that I am the best.”
The fight is organized by Top Rank, Queensberry Promotions and Premier Boxing Champions, and will be televised by FOX Sports PPV and ESPN + PPV.
