A successful Ring Officers seminar in Ecuador

A very useful  seminar of ring officers was held by members of the Boxing Commission of Quito, Ecuador, with the enthusiastic participation of local commissioners, judges and referees.

The referral seminar was presented by Guadalupe García and the seminar of judges by Abraham Ibarra, all prior to the fight for the Latin American Continental title of bantamweight between José Saant (Ecuador) vs. Francisco Alarcón (Mexico) in Macas, Ecuador, on February 28.

During the seminar, various topics were addresses whose purpose was to prepare local ring officials to embrace  WBC rules and criteria.

Topics included : The code of ethics, basic functions of the judges, correct use of bandages in boxers, procedures to carry out a better performance, review of rounds and fights with controversial punctuation.
