A day like today, Tokuyama defended his WBC crown

Masamori Tokuyama defended his WBC super flyweight crown defeating southpaw Kazuhiro Ryuko, via a ninth round TKO. The bout was in Yokohama, Japan.  The Referee was, Kasumata Kuwata. The Judges were, Carol Castellano, Ken Morita and Gale E. Van Hoy.  Tokuyama was also presented with the “Best Japanese Boxer of 2002” award.
