
October 9th, 1993.- In Manchester, England, Britain’s Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank, clashed. The fight concluded in a draw. In a titanic contest, Nigel Benn put on the line his WBC super middeleweight championship and with this result he conserved it. This monumental clash of willpower, egos and physiques took place at the Old Trafford Stadium. The third man in the ring was Larry O´Connell. The Judges were Harry Gibbs, Chuck Hassett and Carol Castellano. A huge crowd of 42,000 boxing fans were on the edge of their seats, but more often on their feet ,thrilling to this great event.
