The “Old Master” Joe Gans, considered as one of the most accomplished lightweights in history, defended his world crown defeating Oscar Gardner by TKO in round 10 of a bout scheduled for 20. The event was presented at the Park Whittington in Hot Springs in Arkansas. The Referee of the match was Tommy Ryan.
