February 4th, 1960.- Carlos Ortiz, from Puerto Rico KO’d Mexican challenger, Battling Torres, successfully defending his super lightweight championship. The bout took place at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles. It was a George Parnassus promotion. The Referee was former Champion Mushy Callahan. The Judges were Lee Grossman and Frankie Van.
