Former two-division world champion Danny “Swift” Garcia will return to the ring at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center this Saturday, October 18, against Daniel “El Gallo” Gonzalez, in a “Farewell to Brooklyn” event that will celebrate the fans and the arena that have supported Garcia throughout his storied history of delivering memorable moments over the course of his career.

Garcia, a fan favorite at the East Coast’s premier boxing venue, will step into the ring for his record-breaking tenth fight at the Barclays Center since headlining the arena’s first boxing event in 2012.

“The fans have supported me since I first fought here and have made Brooklyn feel like my home away from Philadelphia,” Garcia said. “There is nothing like a big fight at the Barclays Center. I had to put on this show for the fans and show them how much I’ve appreciated them all this time. The best way to say goodbye is by fighting here one last time and giving them a great night of boxing full of young, rising talent.
