The culmination a 25-year career, speaks for itself and speaks volumes!
It indicates that Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk is a very polished Polish boxing craftsman. WBC cruiserweight champion and now interim light heavyweight champion, “Diablo” has built a devilishly impressive career.
Krzysztof Włodarczyk made his professional debut in 2000, winning his first six fights by knockout.

During the first two years of his career, he was undefeated and won several intercontinental titles as well as the Polish Republic’s intercontinental cruiserweight championship.
His first defeat came in 2003. Pavel Melkomyan cut him and the result was decided by the judges’ scorecards.
But it was also in 2003 that “Diablo” became WBC champion for the first time. Sergey Karanevich and he fought for the WBC world cruiserweight youth title. Włodarczyk won the fight by split decision.
He won that same championship again in 2004 and 2005. In 2006, he added the WBC FECARBOX to his list of achievements by defeating American Imamu Mayfied.
In 2009, Giacobbe Fragomeni was the WBC cruiserweight world champion. Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk had earned his shot at the title.
In May of that year, the fight took place in Italy. It was a veritable war in which both boxers gave their all, and although Włodarczyk knocked Fragomeni down in the ninth round, it was not enough and the judges ruled the fight a draw.
The rematch would come in the new decade. The Pole took the crown from the Italian in eight rounds, becoming the world cruiserweight champion.

His reign lasted three years and included six successful title defenses, during which he gave us some truly spectacular and memorable fights, such as his bout with Rakhim Chakhiev, but in 2014, Grigory Drozd took the crown from him.
But the drama did not end with Włodarczyk’s defeat. Ten years after the fight, in 2024, the International Testing Agency (ITA) found that Drozd had committed an anti-doping rule violation on September 28, 2014, the same day he won the WBC title from Krzysztof Włodarczyk.

This earned him a four-year suspension, from September 9, 2024, to September 8, 2028.
It took 16 victories, an intercontinental championship, and Drozd’s violation for Krzysztof Włodarczyk to taste glory once again.
At the 2024 WBC annual Convention in Hamburg, the WBC gave “Diablo” the opportunity to fight for a title.

On May 25 of this year, Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk faced Adam Balski for the WBC interim bridger championship. Włodarczyk ended the fight in 10 rounds by knocking Balski to the canvas.
With 66 wins, 45 KOs, 4 losses, and 1 draw, Krzysztof “Diablo” Włodarczyk became champion once again, a great example of discipline and heart.
