On Sunday, October 26th, 2025, London will once again become the stage for an international amateur boxing event carrying a powerful message of peace and coexistence.<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative, promoted by Gloves and Doves in collaboration with the WBC Amateur program, will feature six bouts contested under official WBC Amateur rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This time, the visiting team from Israel \u2014 made up of boxers from different faiths, both Jews and Arabs, united under the slogan \u201cFighting for Peace\u201d (displayed proudly in both Hebrew and Arabic on their vests) \u2014 will face a select squad representing the Amateur Boxing Alliance of England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bouts: Israel vs. London Select<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Itamar Mizrahi (ISR) vs. Chris Freeman (LONDON MILITARY BOXING CLUB) – 60 kg \u2013 Junior<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moshe Hananiaev (ISR) vs. Ryan Hutton (LONDON MILITARY BOXING CLUB) – 70 kg \u2013 Youth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ilay Avraham (ISR) vs. Sameer Kanji (SOUTHALL BOXING CLUB) – 55 kg \u2013 Youth<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Masawra Soleiman (ISR) vs. Charlie Miller (BROMLEY & DOWNHAM) – 61 kg \u2013 Junior<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mahmoud Majid (ISR) vs. Ali Sabti Haider (BROMLEY & DOWNHAM) – 44 kg \u2013 Junior<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Tradition of Unity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This London card follows the path set in 2024, when Gloves and Doves brought their groundbreaking initiative to the city for the first time. That event marked an important milestone in showing how boxing can transcend competition and become a platform for dialogue, respect, and unity across cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gloves and Doves founder, Tony Milch \u2014 also WBC Israel Representative and International Alliance Boxing Officer \u2014 expressed his pride in seeing the project grow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
