Our mission:

To assist in the development of the finest amateur programs in the world. The WBC Amateur Committee is committed to provide the highest level of support and services to all amateur boxers and to those involved in the sport, including organizing and operating well-run tournaments, assistance in training and equipment, providing medical and nutritional information, and supplying advice and education for those who need or are seeking help. We also strive to present the highest level of sports entertainment through our efforts to the other important group – the boxing fan.

Our vision:

To expand around the World to assist as many boxers as possible to reach their full potential both in and out of the ring. We believe that amateur boxing can help to provide a purpose in life, to improve a person’s physical and mental health, and to help set up a future in a positive manner. In addition, we wish to continue to give back to the community through our work with charitable causes and to help bring communities together, as the WBC Amateur Committee is committed to be an engine of change for good.

Our objective:

To unify the world of amateur boxing using our experience and knowledge so that the amateur boxers of the world and those around them benefit. The WBC Amateur Committee would like to use the sport of amateur boxing to teach young people to become productive citizens by giving them focus and opening opportunities for them that they normally might not have received. We believe amateur boxing is a key component to teaching important life skills such as discipline, confidence, and compassion, and we hope to instill these qualities in all the amateur boxers we work with.
