Round 10 of the Liga Metropolitana de Boxeo, the largest amateur boxing tournament in Argentina, will be remembered as a historic milestone. For the first time in the country, the WBC final eliminations leading to the WBC Amateur Tournament “Tijuana 2025” were held, with Club All Boys in Buenos Aires as the chosen stage. The venue came alive with record attendance and a packed schedule of bouts.

The event was attended by leading institutional and sporting figures: Marcelo Domínguez, president of the Liga Metropolitana de Boxeo and former WBC Cruiserweight Champion; Marcos Arienti, Secretary of the World Boxing Council (WBC); Nicolás Cambiasso, president of All Boys; along with trainers from the region’s top boxing clubs.

As part of the day’s program, there was a symbolic presentation of official gear: the club received the official shirt of the activity, and Cambiasso was also presented with a shirt and a commemorative medal on behalf of WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán.

A marathon of amateur boxing

From 9 a.m. on Saturday until 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Baby Fútbol court of All Boys hosted nearly 17 hours of non-stop action. With local trainer Demian “El Turco” García as organizer, the event featured 35 exhibitions and 46 official bouts, totaling 80 matches in one unforgettable day.
