The long arm of The Law will be put to good use, at the fourth Jose Sulaiman Mexican Federal Police Tournament at  Iztapalapa Headquarters, in Mexico City, from January 29th to February 2nd.

Launched in 2014, to honor the memory of the late great Lifetime President of the World Boxing Council, Jose Sulaiman, the tournament tests the ability, skills and fitness of Federal Police, and Mexico's Armed  Forces, up in the squared ring.

The lineup of serving Federal Police Officers  presenting  it, at the World  Boxing Council's weekly press Conference, included:  WBC female super flyweight challenger Irma "Torbellino" Garcia, former WBC Silver lightweight champion Daniel "Tremendo" Estrada and Federal Police Sports Coordinator Rocio Esquinza. Irma fights WBC super flyweight champion Lupita Martinez for the crown just one day after this tournament concludes.

World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman praised the courage and dedication of the Federal Police in the performance of their challenging and difficult daily duties.  He said this year the boxing tournament will continue to build on the considerable and admirable success which has already been achieved.
