NO BELLOWING! TONY BELLEW MIGHT NEED HAND SURGERY
World Boxing Council cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew could be out of action for months, if surgery is decided and then done on his torn and fractured right hand.
The 34-year-old Liverpool fighter suffered these severe injuries in his last fight in which he stopped compatriot David Haye in the 11th round.
"I've spent time with my surgeon to be able to assess what we are going to do. I'm going to leave it in his hands,. I've damaged my hand and he's the best one to decide if I need surgery or not?"
Bellew is in no hurry to return to the ring, needing well earned R AND R, after knuckling down to beat all odds by defeating David Haye on March 4.
