Sergio “Tama” Torres is confident of defeating Daniel “Coco” Hernandez to conquer the WBC featherweight youth title this coming Saturday.
Challenger Sergio is anxious to contest his first championship fight against current youth champion Daniel “Coco” Hernandez.
This match will be the main event of the card “Lluvia de Estrellas” promoted by Boxeo de Gala with the support of Grupo Modelo.
Following the WBC rules, Torres made the pre weigh-in 7 days prior the fight where he marked 131.1 pounds.
“I’ve been working hard, to have no battles with the scales. Now I will do some light training so stary fit and ready.

“I’m at the edge of becoming world champion and I don’t want to waste it. I’m not scared of the “Coco”, I know he’s a very dangerous rival. He’s the champion but I have enough skills to beat him”.
Sergio holds a record of 19 wins (15 KO’s) 5 losses and 1 draw while champion Hernandez, 14 wins (9 KO’s) and 8 losses.
